Lord, Your birth brings us such good news, Handel goes to New Testament scripture, I Cor. 15.52-57 “The trumpet shall sound and the dead shall be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed. For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immorality, then will come about the saying that is written: ‘Death shall be swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your victory?’ The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Paul said, Handel quotes, Rom. 8.31,33,34: “If God be fore us, who can be against us Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ that died, and that is risen again, Who is at the right hand of God, Who makes intercession for us.”

Handel ends with the praise of our hearts, from Rom. 5.12,13: “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, and has redeemed us to God by His blood, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing to Him that sits on the throne.”

We rejoice in Your birth, Your ministry, Your death, Your resurrection and Your victory! You have given us hope.

Thanks for praying. Blessings. Nancy
